Lowes Foods City Park

Description of Project

This was the project that started it all. With support from the community we built a pocket park in our very own downtown Hickory, a place for all ages to gather for play or rest.  The park is an attractive place to sit and enjoy, as well as a place where children can explore Kompan’s unique “unrestricted play” equipment and cool themselves with an interactive water feature.  In addition to providing a safe place for our children to play downtown, the park also attracts new businesses and patrons.
